New To Computers?

If you are new to computers, I hope you won't let that keep you from learning how to use them. It may seem daunting at first but as you spend more time learning the basics, that knowledge will open doors for you.

When I first started looking at the internet, I didn't know very much about computers and I knew even less about the internet.

One of the biggest stumbling blocks to learning just about anything is that it requires a lot of reading. Don't get me wrong - reading is good but there are only so many hours in a day. That's when I decided to create some video tutorials to help with some of the very basics to using your computer.

Once you become familiar with basic tasks such as 'copy and paste' or 'downloading files', you'll start to feel more confident in your abilities. As the saying goes 'a picture is worth a thousand words'. I hope you'll find these videos helpful and I'll do my best to keep adding to the video library.

Here's a great little tool that I use because it saves me loads and loads of time. It's called Type It In. I use it to keep track of html snippets, java scripts, letters, my signature files and so much more. Here's a brief video. You can download it here: Type It In

When we first started using our Quikonnex channels, we used a great little tool called wBloggar to post directly to our sites. Because Quikonnex has expanded its horizons since first developed, it's no longer as necessary a tool. However, there are some cool things you can use it for.
