Hi <FIRST_NAME>,

Here's What We Have For YOU Today:

~ Readers' Comments/Suggestions

~~~Publisher's Corner~~~
Did everyone have a great weekend? How about the Canadians?
I hope everybody enjoyed their Thanksgiving weekend. The
snow held off and it was beautiful here.
I'm happy to welcome all our new subscribers and I'd like
to say 'thank you' to the subscribers who have been with
KIT for awhile. You are very much appreciated by this
publisher.
I've been working towards gaining more insight into some
of the new information out there in cyberspace. I've also
had to do some soul searching about some of the programs
that I have supported in the past. A couple of them will
not show up on my new site as I do not feel they offer the
kind of support that was promised to the members when they
first signed up. I hope to have more complete details in
the next issue of KIT so that you can be presented with
the facts.
Those of you who have come to know me, understand that I
champion the new online entrepreneur. The most important
thing to me is that we are ALL successful; no matter what
program or service we choose to promote. Anyone who is
serious about their business knows that it will require
money -- both coming in and going out. You are investing
in YOUR business -- in YOURself.
You will find there are times when you have to just 'put the
brakes on' when you come across a dynamite sales letter on
a site. Make sure that what is being offered is something
that you want -- something that you need or something that
you will benefit from. Don't just get caught up in the
emotion and/or hype of the sales letter.
Today's feature is called 'How to Look Beyond and Master
The Internet'. Susan Reader does a great job of helping
you to understand what you should and shouldn't do.
In closing, I would like to mention a very special group
of people that I have been working with -- some very closely
over the last year or so. These people feel as I do -- it's
time we all received the benefit due us as online
entrepreneurs. Many people have worked so hard with very
little to show for it. It's definitely time for a change.
If you are beginning to feel that the 'Internet Gold Rush'
has passed you by, then you need to take a closer look at
eBiz Works. You'll see that this so-called 'Gold Rush'
hasn't even started yet. Best of all, there is live
training from some of the best in their field -- design,
techie, marketing -- you name it, we got it. And no, this
isn't another downline club. This membership is meant to
help you and your business grow. You are working with a
team who is just as determined as you are, to see you
succeed. The Resources they have incorporated into the
Members Area are current and up to date and it's just packed
with information. And if you need help, you got it!
Here's your invitation to take a look:
http://www.ebizworks.net/for/home4success
The people that will really make a difference in this
business are the ones who truly care about helping others
achieve success. There is room for everyone. Each person;
each site is unique. There is room for all of us to grow
and prosper. The best part is being able to help others
to do the same.
Have a great week and keep smiling!
Lois M. Jeary
~~~Notes and Quotes~~~

Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish
something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will
pass anyway; we might just as well put the passing time to
the best possible use.

'How To Look Beyond And Master The Internet!'
(c) 2001 by Sue Reader

Online marketers scream "do this" and "do that" and "buy this"
and "buy that" but to master the Internet you must learn to look
beyond. You must plow through all the flashy bells and whistles.
Explode the propaganda to recognize empty words and ineffective
marketing ploys. And for Grandma's sake, don't spend another dime.

Instead, dive into the Internet to learn first - then you can profit
from applying your knowledge. Absorbed all the information you can.
Educate yourself inside the Internet Box of Wonder! Don't spend a
fortune learning through the "School of Hard Knocks". Thousands
of "Snooks" are enrolled in the "Internet School of Hard Knocks" at
this very moment and are spending a fortune. They will eventually get
their degree and discover they had been "TOOK". It doesn't have to be
you.

Don't fall into the trap of hype, lies, empty hopes and dreams. You
can use the Internet and become very successful. You must learn how
to do it right.
http://www.susanreader.com/guide.html

I survived the Internet Rat Race. I was a "snook" student.
Fortunately, I graduated early and did not spend a fortune. I would
like to teach you what I have learned so you can be come a teacher
too. My first FREE instruction is to listen to your inner instincts!
Look beyond.

The Internet is a business that takes hard work and effort to master.
You don't need a lot of money to succeed. Only dedication and proper
knowledge. Join a group and receive a free supply of helpful
information and support. http://yahoogroups.com/group/millions4u/join

· Always keep a positive attitude. You can succeed. Have confidence
in your judgments. Thinking in a successful and positive frame of
mind, "I think I can, I think I can" – and you CAN achieve it.

· Dedicate yourself with a raging desire to achieve true success, and
will absolutely stick to your road at all costs. My determination to
succeed grows everyday. You must stay true at ALL times.

· Next strive to learn everything you can. Then you can begin teach
others and build a dedicated and strong group of people, your own
classroom so to speak, all ready to help each other succeed.

· And NEVER give up. NEVER quit. Stay focused and keep striving for
success.

Internet success isn't just search engine submission, thousands of
FFA postings, and an infected site full of affiliate links and flashy
banners. Success comes with CREATIVE ideas combined with WONDERFUL
marketing and empowered by an enormous determination to SUCCEED.

With mind-boggling congestion, the Internet can distract the
traveler. It can confuse even the experienced voyager and veer him
from his main focus. The Ultimate Master Guide to Internet Success is
a great tool to help you discover your way. Giving you a coherent
path to develop a successful Internet business. A revealing e-
guidebook to help you steady your course to conquer the Internet.
http://www.susanreader.com/guide.html

It is your choice. To learn from the experienced group of Internet
entrepreneurs who have learned one way or another that the Internet
(like so many things in life) takes hard work, smart thinking, and a
positive attitude for success... or become a "snook", follow the
hype, waste time, and spend money to finally expire totally
frustrated. The decision is entirely up to you.

Use wisdom to master the Internet - one link at a time.

Our second feature is from one of my favorite people. He's
one of those who is truly interested in seeing YOU succeed.
I've had this article for awhile and I think it fits in
well with what we have been talking about today. Remember,
if you are running your own business - you are a valuable
asset to the business. Are you treating yourself with the
respect and consideration you deserve? Are YOU motivated?
Can YOU see the direction in which you are headed?

Motivation: How to Improve Performance Without Spending a
Fortune
By Monty J. Sharp
http://www.success-synergies.com

There are several reasons why employees may not always
perform at their potential. They may not know WHAT to do.
That's a communication problem which requires clarifying
expectations and outcomes. They may not know HOW to do it -
that's a training problem. Perhaps they simply CAN'T do
it. That's a selection problem -- we must be careful to
choose the right person for the job.

One reason that may be easily overlooked, however, is that
we never give them a reason WHY they're doing it. That's a
motivation problem. The "quick fix" is to say, "Do it
because I said so," treating the employee like a
disobedient child in need of reproof. The better and more
permanent fix is motivation.

Much has been written about motivation and whether internal
or external motivation works best, or even if you should
use motivation as a management tool at all. I'm not jumping
into that fray here.

What I am suggesting is that people like to be recognized
for their hard work and their contributions to the overall
effort of the organization. Everybody likes a "pat on the
back" for a job well done. Knowing this, the simple fact is
that you will get more of the behavior that you reward. And
rewards don't necessarily equal more money. Quite the
contrary, most employee satisfaction surveys rank salary
relatively low on what employees feel is most important to
them. A basic rule in motivating people is -- motivate
different people differently.

To do this, you must first discover what people value.
Until you get in touch with what people perceive as
valuable, you'll never be able to motivate them
effectively. Ask employees these questions:

--What do you like most about your job? People tend to
perform better at what they like doing -- give them more
responsibilities in those areas.

--What do you like least about your job? As their
performance improves, give employees less of the stuff they
don't like doing.

--What would you like to do in the future? What are their
career goals? Help employees achieve their goals.

--Who do you enjoy working with the most? Who are the
people we can pair up that will add enjoyment to what they
do each day?

By asking these kinds of questions, you will discover how
to best assign tasks and responsibilities so that everyone
has more of what they like to do and less of what they
don't, and you'll learn individual preferences -- how they
want to be treated and what best motivates them.

Here are some practical ways to reward and recognize people
that won't cost much, if anything, except some time:

--An article in the company newsletter about an exceptional
employee.

--A note of appreciation from the CEO or upper management.

--Flex-time. When employees do their job is often less
important than how well they do it.

--Less responsibility. A couple of weeks with less to do to
allow them to "recharge" their batteries.

--More responsibility. Great for the "workaphile" who
thrives on challenges.

--Public spotlight. Let them represent the company by
speaking at local service clubs.

The reward for you? Happier, more productive employees.

~~~Helpful Hints~~~
Here's a cool (kewl) looking site. If you are ready to
start your own website and aren't sure where to begin -
this might be a good place to start. I'd suggest you have
some idea about what you want to say on your web page before
you give the 14-day free trial a shot. They say you can
have a site up in minutes. Here are the details:
TIP #1: Organize Your Menus
Organize your Start Menu! As you add more software to your
computer, much of it goes into the Program Files folder.
These programs are found on the Start, Programs menu. And
they're not alphabetical! So, to organize things, click
Start, Programs, and on the list that opens, right click
anywhere. On the context menu that appears, click 'Sort by
Name'. Just like that, the list will be sorted by name,
making things much easier to find.
TIP #2: More organization
The fastest, easiest way to access the properties of a file
or folder is to right click and select Properties. Try it.
If the item you are interested in learning more about has
a Property Sheet (like a packing list so to speak), you'll
see a line item named 'Properties'. Click... and see what
you find!
Another subscriber took us up on the offer to share a
business or program that you have found to be beneficial
and some of the reasons why. Here is Brenda's story:
I finally found a niche for my mail order catalogs. First I
placed a few ads that said "Free Catalog" with my
autoresponder address. Then I realized people had no idea
what kind of catalogs I had (duh!), so I changed it to have
the catalog name and a short description. Nothing fancy, no
hype. I put the ad in several e-zines about "Freebies".
Around 125 people ordered catalogs, about how many I can
afford right now. I'll know where to place my ads next time.
One huge mistake I made was not making sure my autoresponder
message was correct before placing ads. The company had been
rearranging their website and I had sent people to what used
to be the catalog order page. When I found out, I had no way
of knowing whether people got the wrong or corrected URL. So
I sent a letter to those that responded the first day and
asked them to send me their addresses again if they hadn't
already ordered on the website. When they replied, I entered
each order for a catalog myself,
